She is one of India’s highest-paid and most popular entertainers, accruing multiple accolades for her work.
Just yesterday, the news broke out that husband Nick Jonas, 29, and Priyanka Chopra Jonas, 39, welcomed a baby girl via surrogate.
Now I am not going to lie; I was pretty surprised that the dynamite couple went down this route when it comes to having children, but nowadays, it’s not so uncommon in the Hollywood world.
The couple’s first daughter arrived at 27 weeks at a Southern California hospital, where she’ll remain until she’s healthy enough to return to LA with her parents.
A source stated that “the pair wished for a baby together for ‘quite some time,’ however, their busy schedules had gotten in the way.”
Also, to be clear, Priyanka Chopra Jonas doesn’t have any fertility issues preventing her from having a baby, but she is pushing 39 now, so it’s not getting any easier.
Their busy work schedules also mean that it’s difficult for them to conceive physically, so they went down the surrogacy route some time ago.
Chopra rose to fame when she was 18-years-old. The former Miss India won Miss World in 2000 and the fourth Indian woman to win the title in over four years.
