Make way for the $50 million Sarastar superyacht, a Mondomarine design built to accommodate anyone looking for a quick getaway. Pick your poison and spear through the water with this spacious divine intervention.
Ah, superyachts. These exquisite vessels are the epitome of luxury, wealth, and status. Often at times, each floating hotel has been designed and decorated to the owner’s specific taste, decked out in gold stone and marble – each one surpassing the next in its splendour, grandeur and price tag.
“I think of this boat like a newborn baby,” declares millionaire Michele Tecchia, the current owner of the Sarastar and oil trading guru from Sotrama SAM. For a hefty near $50 million, the price doesn’t even break regarding his $300 million net worth.
Commonly referred to as the ‘Mediterranean Queen’ in the Netflix movie: Murder Mystery starring Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston, the Sarastar is more than just a Mediterranian film guest on the seas.
It’s what makes up her curvature, interior beauty, and sleek, luxurious charm that has A-listers and millionaires drooling.
Birthed in 2017 by Mondomarine, the Sarastar superyacht features a large 10.8M beam meant to entertain friends and family. The all-aluminium yacht can host 12 people in 6 cabins with a crew of 15; some of her luxurious accommodations include a touch-and-go Helicopter pad, a full-beam master with two extendable balconies, and lots of outdoor lounging space.
This 60-metre superyacht is an impressive semi-displacement vessel. Her shape boasts equally sportive and elegant lines, conceived by the acclaimed designer Luca Dini, one of the most we-known yacht designers in the world.
The Sarastar provides high performance with a high-sheen interior paired “with a masculine colour palette, textural furnishings, and luxurious materials, including marble, crystals, onyx, and precious stones,” preaches The Yacht Bible.
Also found onboard is the open-plan sun deck, exotic cactus garden, and multiple bars to wet your whistle. Not to mention the action-packed water toys dying to dip in the crystal-clear waters below.
With a superyacht named her after Tecchia’s wife, Sara, who wouldn’t want to drift into paradise on a millionaire’s dream?
