Heat Up The Slopes With This Ultimate Ski Collab

January 7, 2021 Share

For those that prefer mountains over palm trees, nothing is better than hitting the slopes during the winter season. Whether it’s the Rockys or the Alps, getting that exhilarating thrill zooming down the piste is precisely what true ski lovers wait for all year to experience.

This year however, snow and speed are not the only things to look forward to. Enter, the Chloé x Fuslap capsule collection; an instant classic collaboration between two of France’s most glamorous heritage brands.

The collection delivered by new Chloé self-taught head designer Gabriela Hearst covers you from head to toe; complete with the chicest helmet, gloves, body suits, leggings, coat and jumpsuit out there, ensuring that you look your absolute best as you tackle those double black diamond runs this year.

Hearst took over the helm in December from Natacha Ramsay-Levi who has run the brand for the past four years and signals a return for the brand to the feminine shapes that took Chloé to prominence under the much loved Phoebe Philo OBE from 2001-2006 before her lauded ten year tenure at Celine.

Although Hearst may carry a weighty surname (and all the credence that owning a media empire can afford one in New York’s high fashion society) through her husband, she hails from Uruguay and brings with her a modern sensibility towards sustainability, materials and need to double down on craftsmanship and quality. As Chloé CEO Riccardo Bellini said in a recent press release; “Her powerful vision of more responsible fashion truly embodies the values and sense of commitment of today’s Chloé women.”

Alongside Chloé (for which she is presenting her first full collection at NYFW in March), Hearst will continue to run Candela, her own line based in Brooklyn which has garnered a serious fanbase that include Oprah, Jill Biden and Meghan Markle among others.
