Fenty Hair — Here’s What We Know So Far

March 18, 2021 Share

While it was hoped by many fans that a return to music might be on the cards for Rihanna this year, it’s looking as though the hit singer and entrepreneur is set to keep her focus on the Fenty brand – and she may just be launching some exciting new products!

It was reported earlier this week that Rihanna’s company, Roraj Trade LLC, had filed the official legal documents to trademark ‘Fenty Hair’, leading to plenty of excitement amongst fans that the singer may be about to release a haircare line. Given that her Fenty fashion, beauty, skincare and lingerie lines have been so successful, it definitely seems like the logical next step.

So, when can we expect the release of this brand new range? Where will it be available to purchase? What products can we expect the line to include? Whilst nothing is strictly confirmed just yet, we can certainly speculate based on her previous ventures.

Here’s everything that we can expect from Fenty Hair so far.

When Will Rihanna Release The Fenty Hair Line?

As many fans will be aware, Rihanna has been working on a successor to her last album, Anti, since 2016, but has paused development on her music several times to focus on her non-musical projects.

In the four years since her last album, those projects have included the launch of her beauty brand, luxury fashion brand, skincare range and lingerie line, all of which have seen consistent new releases throughout their operation. So, not only do these projects keep her busy, but it’s clear that Rihanna knows how to get things done on a fast turnaround, too – it’s a huge output of work for just four short years.

However, it was recently announced that the Fenty fashion brand was to suspend production indefinitely after just two years, citing the need to focus on the ‘long-term development of the Fenty ecosystem’. With that in mind, could Rihanna have been on the look-out for a new venture away from music?

Of course, the trademark paperwork has only just been filed, but if the speed at which the Fenty brand has grown over the last few years is anything to go by, Rihanna and her team won’t be wasting any time before getting to work on the Fenty hair range as soon as they can.

What Will The Fenty Hair Line Include?

With so much excitement surrounding the news, it’s understandable that fans are already speculating on what products will make up the Fenty Hair line.

So far, reports suggest that we can expect a wide range of different products, including luxury shampoos and conditioners, hair preparation formulas, hair masks, straightening, waving and curling tools and even hair glitter.

Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty range has received widespread acclaim for its focus on diversity, thanks to the wide range of foundation and concealer shades on offer to suit different skin tones. With that in mind, we can expect that Fenty Hair will also look to cater for a wide array of hair types among different ethnicities.

Where Will The Hair Line Be Available To Buy?

We can definitely speculate on where the line will be available to purchase by looking at where the Fenty Beauty and Skin lines are both on sale!

In the US, the lines are both available to purchase from Sephora, while Fenty is stocked in both Boots and Harvey Nicholls in the United Kingdom. They can also be purchased from the official Fenty Beauty site, too, of course.

It’s expected that Fenty Hair will follow suit, given the success that these retailers have experienced with the products.

We can’t wait to find out more and try it out for ourselves!
