Her ITEM Beauty range initially launched online at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Now, not only is Co-Founder Rae celebrating ITEM Beauty’s first anniversary but its launch at Sephora in Canada and the US.
In a recent interview with Elle magazine, she spoke of her excitement over the launch:
“Sephora gives a bigger place for me to really put my mark in there and say, ‘I’m a part of Gen Z, and I think clean beauty is also important.’ And now, I get to do that with someone that’s leading clean beauty.”
Products that make up the clean makeup range include essentials for lashes, brows, and lips, as well as powders and concealers. The brand also boasts a clean skincare line including cleansers, moisturisers, and cleansing balms.
The beauty range is all about owning your look and embracing your imperfections. According to Rae, her products celebrate self-love in a healthy way.
Addison Rae’s favourite piece is her Lip Quip moisturising scented lip gloss pieces. They are all named after Rae’s favourite words and sayings including Hey Y’all, Come Thru, Heart Poppin’ and Inna Jam.
When Byrdie asked what products she applies before every photo, Rae responded with:
“I love a glossy lip. Especially in a video, it’s super captivating to see someone with really bouncy, plush, and juicy lips. I think it just looks so good.”
Aside from her beauty line, Addison Rae is set to star in her first feature film, He’s All That, which is based on a gender-swapped remake of She’s All That. Director, Mark Walters, is set to release this Netflix American teen romantic comedy, by the end of this month – 27 August 2021 to be exact.
