The 2022 MTV Video Music Awards is a ceremony hosted by MTV that honours the best music videos of the year. Jack Harlow, Kendrick Lamar, Lil Nas, and other musicians whose cultural influence and efforts over the previous year have revolutionised the music industry are among the 2022 MTV VMAs Nominees.

Voting for the 2022 MTV VMAs Nominees in the three special social categories, Group of the Year, Song of the Summer, and Album of the Year, could be done through MTV’s Instagram Story between Monday, August 22, and the night of the show.

Where can you watch the 2022 MTV VMAs?

Normally, MTV, the VMAs’ home network, will broadcast the event. The CW, BET, CMT, Comedy Central, MTV2, Nickelodeon, Paramount Network, Pop, TVLand, and VH1 are just some of the networks that are simulcasting it too. Even though the 2021 VMAs was streamed on Paramount+, MTV hasn’t made any announcements yet mentioning that it will be on Paramount+ this year.

Who is hosting the 2022 VMAs?

Nicki Minaj, LL Cool J, and Jack Harlow will be hosting the 2022 MTV VMAs, which makes us even more excited about the event. Besides her role in hosting the event, Minaj will also receive the prestigious Video Vanguard Award at the ceremony.

With seven nominations each, Kendrick Lamar, Lil Nas X, and Jack Harlow are topping the list this year. With six nominations each, last year’s host, Doja Cat, and Harry Styles are not far behind. Billie Eilish, Drake, Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, and the Weeknd follow with five noms each.
