Unveiling the Baccarat Bar at Harrods

A new must-see cocktail destination in the heart of Knightsbridge

There are few London landmarks that elicit more excitement, nostalgia and wonder than Harrods, the glittering terracotta temple of retail on Knights bridge road. Within its vast five acres sits a cornucopia of brands, encompassing everything from luxury and haute couture fashion to beauty – all the products a modern shopper could ever dream of.

However there is one area of Harrods that is lesser known by the millions that venture through its doors every year; the incredible bars and restaurants that sit within it. As with everything the store does, the food and drink experiences it offers are second to none. Shoppers can enjoy tea at the Tiffany’s Blue Box cafe, champagne at the Perrier-Jouet terrace, chinese food at Chai Wu, among many, many, others.

The Baccarat Bar is the latest addition to the Harrods hospitality offering. Tucked away on the Lower Ground Floor, and accessible through a private entrance on Hans Crescent, this decadently designed bar is the new jewel in the store’s crown. Fusing the glamour of Harrods with the expert craftsmanship of the world’s most famous French crystal brand, this late night bar is not to be missed.

Decorated with opulent Baccarat chandeliers in the brand’s iconic reddish hue – the bar truly dazzles from every corner. Patrons sit surrounded by beauty whilst sipping on word-class cocktails by the award-winning Cameron Attfield, served in the finest crystal – of course.

The cocktail menu has been designed with delight in mind and includes finest spirits and ingredients – from the sweet tasting Electric Emotions (a mix of Flor de Caña 12-year-old rum, strawberry, tonka bean, saffron honey, buzz-button distillate and fizz) to the sharp and healthy Tryptophan Fix (a mood-enhancing mélange of Monkey 47 gin, soy cashew distillate, banana water, spinach cordial and soda water), there is something for every palate.

For those that get peckish, there is a tantalising array of small dishes – from truffle fries and beef-cheek beignets to foie gras burgers and Oscietra caviar. With all of this to look forward to – we could not be more excited to head over to Hans Crescent as soon as possible and indulge our senses in true Harrods style.
