American model Gigi Hadid is set to release a new knitwear collection with her label, Guest In Residence. The entire collection is 100 per cent cashmere and is packed with a vibrant array of colour palettes.
From ripping the runway as a supermodel for Haute fashion houses to gracing the covers of prominent magazines, the American model has made it clear that she’s a fashion powerhouse with her new collection, Guest In Residence.
The mother to one and ex-lover to Zayn Malik, Gigi Hadid, has recently added “brand founder” to her running list of accomplishments. On Thursday, on Instagram, the 27-year-old supermodel offered a sneak peek at her newest venture, Guest in Residence.
Sharing the process of creating her knitwear line, she posted a gallery of images showing the brand’s logo, clothing tags, colour swatches, and piles of sweaters, in addition to her wearing what looked to be very soft knits. All of them are naturally 100 per cent cashmere – a super soft fibre under the hair of the goat in Asia.
Gigi Hadid remains tight-lipped about when the collection will be released, but if the behind-the-scenes photos are evidence enough, fans can expect her designers and knitted loungewear to hit the clothes racks soon.
Guest In Residence isn’t Hadid’s first dive into the fashion making-world. She also recently released two swimwear collections called Frankies BikiHadid. This was done in collaboration with the founder of Frankies Bikinis, Francesca Aiello, with whom she grew up in Malibu.
The American model and reality television star may have a net worth of $29 million. But one of the highest-paid models in the world may have found her new niche in knitwear.
