Christmas in High Society: Best Looks Of All Time

December 28, 2021 Share

Although it may still feel like March, the cool mornings and the fact that Mariah Carey is back on the charts prove otherwise. While festive outfits may be the last thing on your mind in the midst of a global pandemic, a little festive dressing up might just brighten your mood, and it’s not that difficult—just put on something red or green and you’re halfway there.

Take inspiration from some of the most famous holiday ensembles of all time—from meticulously planned political attire to straight-up Christmas trees—celebrities have done it all. Below are our favourite looks.

Marilyn Monroe‘s red Christmas cocktail dress is similar to her legendary white one,  but the reindeer appliqué on the front makes it a very beautiful Christmas dress.

2. Kendall Jenner, 2021

We couldn’t pass up this one, even if it was displayed on a mannequin and not actually worn by someone. The French designer developed an alien Christmas tree appearance for a Holiday retrospective event in Paris that would make any Holiday devotee jealous.

8. Clara Bow, 1920
