She may hail from Rio de Janeiro, but actress Bruna Marquezine is far from your typical beachbound Brazilian bombshell. The 26-year-old 2019 April Vogue cover star is a verified industry veteran, with 15 years worth of film and television roles to her credit.
Actress and model Bruna Marquezine was born in 1995 and hails from Duque de Caixas, almost 400km from Mogi das Cruzes in Sao Paulo state.
Bruna had her first experience on television as a co-host of Xuxa – the well-known Brazilian TV host of children’s programs. In 2002 she was chosen among the hundreds of young models for participation in the awards ceremony of the winners at the Cannes Film Festival.
Marquezine has been on television since she was a child, and before she was 10 years old had appeared in some of Brazil’s most popular soap operas such as Mulheres Apaixonadas (Women in Love) and America.
