Adele Is Back! | Hello New Music, A New Attitude And A Big Transformation

October 10, 2021 Share

The British singer-songwriter-Adele, known for her soulful sound has made an international success with hits like “Rolling in the Deep”, “Skyfall” and “Hello”. Now she has made a return to the music industry.

The 33-year-old singer just graced the cover of not one but two Vogue November issue covers – British and American, after five years of no press and no magazine covers.

Of course, earlier this week Adele teased her new single “Easy On Me”.

The teaser arrived days after billboards with the number “30” started popping up in cities around the world, sparking rumours among fans that the singer will release an album this year.

Adele’s previous albums have all had numbers as titles, referencing her age, starting with the debut album “19” in 2008, followed by 2011’s “21” and 2015’s “25.”

The Oscar winner’s album “25” quickly became the best-selling album of 2015, and eventually, the fourth best-selling album of the 21st century – her album “21” still holds that title today.

Following her Saturday Night Live appearance, the Golden Globe winner retreated from public life until she was spotted in April 2021. In May 2019, she rose again via Instagram to say that her followers were a “bunch of f—king savages” for bombarding her with questions about the next album release.

“30 will be a drum n bass record to spite you,” she joked, referring to a subgenre of electronic music that goes against her Pop R&B soul music.

No matter what it sounds like, though, there’s no question that #Adele4 will be a massive hit.

The new song is set to drop on 15 October 2021. It will be the first song on her new album and will touch on her recent divorce – which means another emotional comeback is on the way.

Rumour has it…she will most likely wipe away Coldplay’s new album, “Music Of The Spheres” (releasing on the same day) and Ed Sheeran’s new upcoming album “=”, which is set to be released on 29 October 2021.

Her fourth album, “30”, is rumoured for mid-November this year.

Adele opened up in both British and American ‘Vogue’ about her divorce from Simon Konecki and her new boyfriend, Rich Paul.  The Grammy award winner reflects on the end of her marriage to Simon, with whom she shares a 9-year-old son, Angelo.

The singer says some of her new music was influenced by their split and wants to provide answers to their son. Adele also opens up publicly for the first time about her relationship with sports agent Rich Paul.

The star also opened up about her dramatic slim-down in the accompanying interviews — which wasn’t about dropping pounds, she said, but rather getting fit.

Adele told American Vogue:

“I realized that when I was working out, I didn’t have any anxiety. I thought, If I can make my body physically strong, and I can make my emotions and my mind physically strong.”

The singer-songwriter lost 100 pounds in two years by lifting weights and doing circuit training.

According to Women’s Health Magazine, plenty of negative comments have surfaced about her new look.

“My body’s been objectified my entire career. It’s not just now. I understand why it’s a shock. I understand why some women especially were hurt. Visually I represented a lot of women. But I’m still the same person,” she explained to Vogue.

Adele is still confident and body-positive and weight loss or not, Adele seems incredibly happy these days. And really, that’s all that matters.

We look forward to hearing her new song and we cannot wait to see which records one of the world’s best-selling music artists, with sales of over 120 million records – has in store for us!
